Welcome to the Brother Paul archive. This site is dedicated to the memory and satire of Paul Somerville (1947-2005), late of Moore, OK and Oklahoma City, who never met a sacred cow he wouldn't butcher, grill, and serve with a side of mashed potatoes.

For several years he was prolific in writing for the online discussion lists at H-Net and wrote numerous satires on religious themes that appeared in The Door (aka The Wittenberg Door), which bills itself as "Pretty Much the World's Only Religious Magazine."
